ONESTOP RETAIL NETWORK
Network summary:
In 2005, the Retail Council of Canada recommended Sporting Life and ONESTOP to partner, conduct research and launch a 6-month in-store Digital Media Network. Both agreed to this unique opportunity in order to understand the benefits of a digital media network in a retail environment, its ability to enhance the customer’s shopping experience, and communicate new marketing programs to the staff. The success of the 6-month study resulted in a major Digital Media Network launch in November 2006 at Sporting Life’s two major Toronto stores – a total of 25 - 40” portrait LCD screens and an interactive Kiosk at both locations. An upscale demographic with very high household income indexes, Sporting Life‘s corporate brand image is a perfect target market to strategically promote in-store and 3rd party upscale brands on their new Digital Media Network.
